People say the nicest things!
Over the years, I've gotten lots of wonderful feedback from people
who've benefited from my services in one way or another. Here are a few
representative testimonials from:

- By clearing away clutter and mess from our home, you have made daily
life significantly more pleasant, more relaxed and more convenient.
The return is well worth the investment. C.D.
- This was definitely the best investment I've made in a long time.
N.L..
- When my wife made an appointment with you, I admit I was not exactly
looking forward to the visit. But when you arrived, your tact put me
at ease and your competence quickly became apparent. Thank you for
the very necessary and helpful service you provide. J.S.
- Thank you for the excellent help you gave me in organizing my files
and cleaning out my basement. I really appreciate the practical
hints, the work you did, and maybe most of all, the company and moral
support in doing the kind of work I never seem to get to on my own.
J.L.
- Your suggestions and positive approach eased my reluctance to admit I
needed help. E.T.
- The rest of us are frequently bogged down in abject misery because we
have too much stuff and not enough discipline or storage systems to solve
the problem. You have a very valuable ability to look at the
situation objectively and generate creative solutions with practical
value. J.W.

- Your assistance has saved us time and money! A.C.
- Thanks to you, I'm more productive. S.K.
- Thank you for your help in setting up my office. Now that I've
experienced the value your expertise provides, I can't imagine having an
office that you haven't laid out. S.B.
- Your suggestions on visual changes to our office to give the illusion
of its being less unwieldy were excellent. You brought up the
psychology of competition when space is in short supply, and the
importance of how the space is "marketed." These were all little
things that added up to our getting a lot for the money in hiring you.
Excellent job! H.L.
- You helped me think about my life in ways that go far beyond how to
arrange the shoes in my closet. Your responses to my situation were
flexible, not the rote application of a bunch of standard techniques or an
attempt to impose a preconceived, one-size-fits-all solution. Thank
you! N.R.

- You are always a pleasure to listen to, and full of such great ideas!
I went home and changed several things in my kitchen that same weekend.
S.K.
- Everyone came away with a smile on their face, ready to tackle the
mess and their significant others!! E.G.
- Your talk at the college was great. It was just the right amount
of information and lots of good practical tips. You were a big hit!
C.E.

About training I've offered to professional
organizers:
- I find Kathy's presentations to be spiritual first, practical a close
second, logical, sensible, a nice mix of personal/professional. An
excellent choice for a speaker. I also very much appreciate the
preparation and handouts. H.L.
- You presented the telecourse so smoothly and simply, uncluttered is
the word. You also made some excellent points I don't think I'll
ever forget. Brilliant! P.H.
- Over the years I have attended many workshops, but I don't recall
attending one so well organized (!) or informative. E.B.
- You are so good at this stuff. Your ideas are sound and your
speaking style is so relaxed and focused and articulate and wise.
R.C.
- WONDERFUL! Couldn't have been better! The most valuable
thing I got from the conference. THANKS! Anonymous reviewer

- I heard you on Wisconsin Public Radio
yesterday and actually called in to get a tape of the program. I'm a
retired teacher, and now I take care of the house while my wife (a teacher
) and my 14-year-old son go to school. I'M GOING TO GET THIS HOUSE
ORGANIZED and you are the one who has inspired me to do so. C.C.
- I heard a few minutes of your
conversation with Joanie Greggins on KGO last week. One thing you said
has REVOLUTIONIZED the way I manage my home. You said those who are
visually oriented need containers that let them see what's available.
I took the cloth shoe rack from behind my bedroom door,
hung it outside the closet, and put my most frequently worn shoes in
it. Now, they're not all lying on the floor in front of the closet. It's
been a week, and I am religiously putting my shoes away when I get
home! No more tripping over a pile of shoes that don't want to go into
the closet!
Now that I understand my quirky nature, I’m excited
about continuing this process. The trick is to creatively and fashionably
put most-used items on display!
I appreciate
what you've done for me and wanted to express my very sincere THANKS! :)

- I have just finished reading your
book. It was absolutely excellent, one of the best organizing books I
have ever read. I really enjoyed how you illustrated your points with
stories. I particularly liked your questionnaire at the back to evaluate
whether you are a structured or freeform type of person, and what you
should focus on and be aware of. Anonymous reviewer
- Everyone should read this.

- I am going to try to implement your
ideas. I got your book from the library but now I am going to buy it, as I
must have marked about 100 post-it notes on different pages!! (Really, I
don't do that with every book I read - it is very rare!!) Thank you for a
wonderful and must-read book! B.G.
- I read your book and it providentially
addressed the very problems I had been having, not so much with clutter
(although I always have that), but with outdated systems. Having that
problem defined was the biggest help for me. Since then I have been busy
labeling, clearing out, etc. and having a wonderful time. I hope this week
to get a CAD-drawn plan of the new office scheme and then we will be on
our way to getting that done. Anonymous reviewer
- Thank you for writing this insightful and
valuable book for us, our students and clients. I will recommend to my
future clients that they use this as a useful tool to get a "jump start"
on their journey. J.T.
- I met you the other night when you came
to speak at Borders Books in Boston. Your talk was TERRIFIC. I adored it,
very inspiring. I have been reading your book and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! I
have a fair collection of books on organizing and so when I use the words
"LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!", it means something! H.C.
- I've started reading your book and was
struck by how many of my clients fit your description: people who have
become disorganized as a result of a change in their lives. Remarkable!
I'm enjoying the book very much. J.S.
- I just finished The Organizing
Sourcebook
and I loved it! I think it would be really neat if you would make a video
using real life cases and how you organize the biggest messes
step-by-step. Even better would be a weekly television show on the Home
and Garden channel-I'll be watching for it! Thanks for writing such a
terrific book. R.H.
- I just wanted to reiterate how much I am
enjoying your book. I'm only halfway through it because I constantly
reread what I have previously read. There is a lot of information and it
is very well laid out - I like your format. B.B.
