I specialize in home, family, and home-office organization because
I
know how important it is to have a comfortable, functional, welcoming home.
Every household, no matter how many people live in it, is a complex
environment. Your home contains multiple activities, spaces, things,
information, and (often) people. It's a real challenge to keep
everything working smoothly, especially as life changes. After all,
a busy life can get messy!
That's why my services focus, not on making your life perfectly
organized, but on getting your home and home office
organized enough
for you and your family. If your home doesn't work as well as you'd
like, I'd love to help you make it function more smoothly and
effectively.
My organizing services
include personal
consultations and
hands-on organizing.
They are strictly
confidential and
judgment-free.

Even though I'm naturally organized and have been organizing
professionally since 1993, it's taken me years of study to figure out
the recipe for a reasonably organized life. Here are just a
few of the ingredients:
- Have a place for everything so you can keep everything
in its place (but it doesn't have to be there all the time).
- Store things as close to their point of use as possible.
- The more steps it takes to do something, the less likely
it is to get done.
I believe it is my responsibility to share the things I've learned
with others. I do this through speaking
and training workshops for all kinds of groups.
Everyone benefits from getting better organized! If you'd like
your company or group to learn how, click here.

Some people are born organized. Everyone else has to learn how to
manage their space, things, information, time, and relationships.
I wrote The Organizing Sourcebook
to teach the Nine Strategies of Reasonably Organized People.
My book describes the ways other people have solved common organizing
dilemmas using these simple principles. The
real-life stories give you glimpses into other people's homes and let you
know you're not the only one living with a pile or two.
If you aren't naturally orderly, The Organizing Sourcebook will show you how to set up
a simple, flexible organizing system and keep it going as life changes.
And if you're already so organized your spices are lined up
alphabetically, the stories will show you how the other 90% of the
population lives!
